County: Kings
A small town, close to the intersection of 5 highway and the famous Californian aqueduct that supplies water to Los Angeles from Sierra Nevada foothills. Hometown of farmers famous for their world record crops, cattle gains and milk yield. What else can you expect from hard-working people which live in the fertile San Joakin Valley? Even the name of the town was derived from the word “cattle”. The town is so small and hard-working that it is not known for any entertainment or tourist attractions. There is one officially registered historical and archeological memorial of local value though. It’s called Witt Site, a camp of ancient Indians which populated this place long ago.
