A cabover (Cab Over Engine) truck of the 8th class. The first K100 was made in 1961. Initially this truck was designed for the west coast where strict combination limitations defined the situation. K100E was a result of research and development in the area of aerodynamics and structural dynamics of a motor truck. In 1984 Kenworth K100E was rated best among American tractors of similar class in aerodynamics and fuel consumption. Tractors with the Aerodyne sleeper, that has additional face windows have the highest level of comfort. The fairly spacious two-level sleeping block has two sleeping places, one above another.
